Registration is now open for deli, farm shop, café and garden centre owners, along with chefs, publicans, hoteliers, bars and restaurateurs, to visit the Guild of Fine Food’s Harrogate Fine Food Show, which returns to the Yorkshire Event Centre on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 June from 10am – 4pm.
From craft spirits and biltong to beer bread and matcha, this trade only event promises to give food and drink buyers a first-glimpse and taste of many products that have never before been seen at a trade show, helping them discover emerging food and drink trends, meet fellow producers and refresh their offering.
Visitors will have the chance to join a number of workshops, discussions and demos in the FineFoodLive! theatre, such as a session on turning the day’s leftovers into money-making nibbles with consultant and TV chef, Stephanie Moon, and a cocktail showcase with pioneering mixologists, concocting ways to keep the bar bustling. Other sessions include innovative ideas for merchandising and a practical look at how to steer customers to spend more money.
Throughout the two days, visitors will be able to meet and do business with over 150 food and drink producers, get useful tips and advice on maximising festive sales at the Cracking Christmas workshop and watch food and drink entrepreneurs pitch to big-name food buyers from Selfridges, Harrods and Fenwicks of Newcastle, hosted by BBC Radion 2’s Nigel Barden, in the ever-popular Feed the Dragon live sessions.
