Levenshulme Market Easter special
After a fantastic St Patrick’s Day celebration in March, Levenshulme Market is delighted to reveal that its next monthly night market party will be an Easter special on Good Friday – Friday 14th April 2017, 5-9pm on the Levenshulme train station car park.

The Easter special will feature craft activities for the kids from 5-7pm, as well as a selfie-snapping ‘Eggstagram Challenge’ where market-goers race to track down eggs hidden around the market and snap a quick pic with them for the chance to score some free food and drink. From 6pm, local duo Beatific DJs will be taking to the decks, playing out an eclectic mix of everything from house to soul, indie to electronic – plus plenty of crowd-pleasers to kick off the Easter weekend in style!
Levenshulme Market’s very first Saturday market of 2017
The full line-up of food and drink is soon to be announced on www.levymarket.com and on the market’s Facebook page, but organisers can reveal that it will feature gourmet mac & cheese from Mac Daddies, mega meaty sarnies from Pastrami Now, comforting poutine from Blue Caribou Canteen, oyster snacks from Holy Crab and panzerotti from Fritto Italian Street Food. Puds will be provided by Lush Brownies and Ginger’s Comfort Emporium, two thirds of Manchester’s best dessert parlour MilkJam. What’s more, the market’s pop-up bar will be rolling out some special Easter cocktails and craft beers.

There’s even the chance to do some shopping, as Lido Cards & Gifts, BubbleOff! Vegan Skincare and Chandler’s Cocoa will be there along with regulars like Winter Tarn Cheese with a fantastic selection of cheese, eggs and hand-churned butter.

Levenshulme Market, the only social enterprise of its kind in the UK, is held every weekend from March to December in the heart of Levenshulme. Saturday markets boast over 40 stalls and everything from street food, cocktails and craft beers to unique gifts, crafts and vintage fashion. They run every weekend from 10am to 4pm, except on the third weekend of the month when the daytime market is replaced by a fabulous Friday Night Market party from 5-9pm.
Formerly held just four times a year, there will now be one of Manchester’s best food and drink parties on the third Friday of every month starting in March. Past events have been hugely popular, with hundreds flocking to enjoy street food, drinks from the bar, live entertainment and a lively community spirit – something that Levenshulme is well known for.
In addition to the monthly night markets, the Levenshulme Market team also have lots of other plans up their sleeves for 2017, including kids’ activities, live music and special events.
