The latest InternetRetailing UK Top500 (IRUK Top500) report has ranked Nisbets as one of the top 100 e-commerce and multichannel retailers in the UK. Rated on six performance dimensions; Strategy & Innovation, The Customer, Merchandising, Brand Engagement, Operations & Logistics, and Mobile & Cross Channel, the awards go far beyond ranking purely on revenues, store networks and web traffic.
Nisbets originally broke into the top 350 of the IRUK Top500 in 2016, before rising to the top 250 last year. This latest achievement represents a significant milestone for Nisbets, as CEO Klaus Goeldenbot explains:
“The IRUK 500 is a widely respected ranking of those companies that are leading the way in e-commerce and multichannel retailing and to be the only catering equipment company featured is an amazing achievement. The fact that the report looks at much more than revenues and measures companies from a customer viewpoint, as well as brand engagement, makes this achievement even more important.”
”Nisbets aims to provide customers with a multichannel option, via our website and retail outlets, that offers a best in class customer experience. We work hard to bring services that add value and let them get on with their job, such as ‘click and collect’ and free next day delivery. I am delighted that the efforts of both the digital and retail teams to provide a fantastic customer experience has been recognised and I’d like to thank all these colleagues, as well as the wider business, for their dedication and support.”
Ian Jindal, Editor in Chief at IRUK Top500, explains more about the analysis:
“When we compile the report we look at emerging technologies, watching to see where and how they are adopted. We also look at those approaches that retailers are now starting to leave behind as their businesses mature and change. Our aim is to understand what leading retailers do that works for their businesses, and how others can learn from this in order to boost their own businesses for the future. Nisbets is certainly one of the companies that has made significant strides in the last two years.”
